This week the USGP of Cyclocross decided to move their forum off their own website and onto BikeClicks.com joining a number of growing cycling communities already on the site. Additionally, Bruce Fina (Executive Director of the USGP and founder of cycling products company PEDROS) has begun blogging on BikeClicks.com.
Moving the forum from USGPCyclocross.com exposes the race series to a a much larger audience. Since the Derby City Cup is part of the regional Ohio Valley Cyclocross (OVCX) series, this move increases the direct connection between regional cyclocross athletes and the USGP staff. Interestingly we're already seeing an influx of new members from other parts of the country onto BikeClicks.com as racers from cross meca's like New England and Portland, OR inquire about host housing here in Louisville or want to know the best place to stay or rent a car, or just get to know the local scene a little better.
Bruce Fina is also blogging on BikeClicks.com about races, pros, cycling in general, news from the US and European course and more. Capturing Bruce's idea on our site is a huge deal for us and we're excited to have him. You can check out Bruce's blog here.
